Advocacy & Support

The PYWA is committed to providing support, resources, and connections to help us survive in the world of youth work.  Youth Ministry is a very unique and specialized ministry within the PC(USA).  As youth workers, we enjoy lots of benefits of this specialization, and also face many challenges and limitations.

We are developing resources like sample position descriptions, salary surveys, and materials that will help youth workers.  We are also developing a network of supportive connections so that we don't have to do this ministry alone -- we have people who can listen, advise, support.

Watch these pages as these parts of PYWA get rolled out.  We're excited to be in this together, and want to connect, uphold, and inspire each other in our ministries.
