How PYWA Works

PYWA is for everyone – The part-time middle school volunteer, the full-time paid high school youth worker, presbytery or camp staff, college students, retired pastors, people you know and people you don't know – anyone interested in supporting the call to youth ministry.

Let joy be unconfined – PYWA doesn't need to follow historical boundaries. Although PYWA can exist within presbytery lines, a PWYA community could also be a group of rural parishes, or maybe it's all the youth workers in your city, it might even encompass several presbyteries.

Communication is key – Some people read email exclusively, some need paper, and others need a personal contact. Communicate using all methods available. Also, feel free to use the PYWA logo from this website on all your communiqués.

PYWA can look like:

• An annual weekend retreat
• A weekly coffeehouse Bible Study
• A monthly PYWA lunch and sharing
• A quarterly recreation experience
• A weekly prayer breakfast at rotating churches
