PYWA is excited to honor Robyn Porch as the featured youth worker! Robyn is a volunteer youth worker at First Presbyterian Church of Pensacola, FL. Robyn not only runs the youth programs at First, but serves on the Presbytery of Florida’s Youth Committee.

Shannon Guse, Director of Christian Education (Youth) at Faith Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee, Fl. says “I first met Robyn five years ago at a Presbytery Youth Retreat, and she’s been at every retreat since then! She loves youth ministry and has been serving for at least 18 years.” At First Presbyterian Robyn has served as an elder, is currently serving as a member of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee, a member of the Education and Spiritual Development Ministry Team. This summer she also served on the Intern Supervisory Committee for their summer intern.

Randy Jackson, pastor at First Presbyterian Pensacola says, “Robyn epitomizes what it means to be a selfless servant when it comes to youth ministry. Her love for young people and for their role in the church is unsurpassed and is demonstrated constantly through her works and actions. This is evident to all who know her, but especially to the youth who have known her through so many years as a friend, confidant, surrogate parent and faithful Christian.”
